This is a label-produced reissue of the original self-released demo that came out on October 17, 2020.
Corrupted Flesh Records is honoring Åskog's infamous 3-track-demo "Varg" with an exclusive limited edition tape reissue, including the bonus track "Myror", which can only be purchased with this tape (not to appear on the upcoming full-length album).

Bio:
Åskog took form during the early summer of 2020 by Adam and Lars from their previous band, Murdryck, to start over with something fresh and purely their own.

Åskog brings new ideas, a stronger identity, and a renewed cooperation between its band members.

Åskog delivers an eclectic mix of black metal, doom metal, heavy metal, and even flirts with elements of death metal. Åskog surprise and throw a spanner in the works with twists and turns that aim to leave the listener guessing for what comes next.

Åskog is thematically based on the cold and harsh brutality of nature. While other bands typically glorify a romantic vision of hell, prance about in cloaks chanting magical spells or sing about war, Åskog believe the darkness is much closer to home.

Åskog now reside on Grind To Death Records (Sweden) for CD release and Corrupted Flesh Records (Germany) for vinyl and cassette release.
